The newly upgraded 2025 Chevrolet Traverse now offers a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine option, which provides a great balance of power and efficiency, with fuel economy ratings of 21 MPG city and 27 MPG highway. The standard 3.6L V6 still comes on models for buyers who need maximum trailering capability. As always, the Traverse provides extremely flexible and spacious seating for up to 8 passengers to fit the whole family or carpool crew comfortably.
An upgraded Chevy infotainment system headlines the tech updates for 2025. It features a bright, easy-to-use 8” touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability to sync your smartphone on the go. OnStar and connected services are standard, providing in-vehicle Wi-Fi for up to 7 devices, keeping everyone connected and entertained. Available driver assistance features include a super helpful 360-degree surround vision camera, rear seat reminder, adaptive cruise control, and more modern conveniences.
The Traverse maintains its refined exterior styling but adds new details like revised grille designs and new wheel options. Inside, the spacious cabin has flexibility for both cargo and passengers. Trim levels range from the sporty blacked-out RS to the ultra-upscale High Country with premium leather appointed seats for a luxury feel.
The experts are big fans of the Traverse. For 2025, it earned Cars.com’s Best 3-Row SUV for Families award. It received top safety scores from IIHS and a perfect 5-star overall rating from NHTSA as well. Kelley Blue Book also honored the Traverse with its Best Resale Value award for large SUVs. With its winning combination of space, style and value, it’s easy to see why the 2025 Traverse remains a critics’ favorite.
